Update To 805 For Uk Version Available

Hurray! Check for update offered an update for build 801B16A ENU to 805B56B ENU.

You can either download/save (117MB), or let it download/install.
Install went smoothly for me, I haven't checked everything yet, but so far so good.

it says
"Update the Retail (CD-ROM) English version of Easy Media Creator 8.0 Suite (Build 800B85C) to 8.05 (Build 805B30B)"

however my CD-ROM version is v801B16A. I bought a boxed version in the UK.

Cn I use this update?

whay fdoes it state for CD-ROM ofv800B85C

No you can't use the one on the updates page here. I think the OP was using the Update Checking process from in the program to get the update. Try that.

That is correct. I was using disk copier and suddenly a window popped up saying an update was available. I closed it to finish the copying I was doing, then opened Roxio central, Help menu check for updates, and it offered it again. I expect that it will appear on the downloads page eventually.

Yes same here, just use any of the programs (while connected to the net obviously!) and after a short while the update window pops up.

Let's hope this is the 'fix' we have all been asking for!

not working for me..mmm...??

Tried form the "Home" screen, it came up with a Sonic redirect page and said that these fields needed filled in, ie serial no etc?

??

ah ha, tried again a few times and not it opens up the Sonic update service box..

getting v805 now...
