huh.gif [font=Arial Black]  Are there any better instructions for burning directly to a DVD? The help section just tells you to act like ur printing to paper It said the printer should be in the drop down box for paper type but I don't understand how that affects anything. Thanks.

Are you trying to do LightScribe or are you printing directly to the DVD with an inkjet printer?

The paper type will change the printer settings for where the edges are - just as you would have different settings for different kinds of labels, or for 8 1/2x11 or 11 x 8 1/2 (depending on which side side of the Atlantic you are on).  DVD is just another size setting.  (If you have a printer than can do it, there should be a setting to do it with.)

Am trying to print directly to the DVD with an HP color laser jet 8550. Don't know if I can.

I'm not sure ir the HP color laser jet 8550 can do it. I didn't see it in the Paper Type  in Page Setup.

Loug,
I don't think it will read here, http://www.superwarehouse.com/HP_Color_Las...7096A/ps/119566

I bought the HP 5160 to do this, cheap on sale $79.99 and does a very good job!

At $3,000.00, it should print to everything!

tbrewst,
at 79.00 on sale a steal for a piece af pc hardware, I wish I had owned for years. Marlinsinger posted somewhere in general chat, he had printed to 40 CD or DVD's and some other jobs on the original print cartridges and still going. I'm about half of that and they look as good as a bought disc. I print to TY white hub printable SL and Verbatim white DL. Can't find hub printable in DL ( smaller center circle to print on )
My recommendation a #1 Best Buy!

Well, I knew that it wasn't Ben Thuy or Can Tho.   Although, I did spend some time up in Long Bihn, and not at LBJ. smile.gif

I swear that I saw that mountain when I flew up there on Chinooks.

LOL!  I am glad that he didn't.  I remember seeing a mountain that looked like that, but I am not sure that is the one.

Chinooks were louder than the C-130.
