I thought MS was the one to decide if programs were certified or not.  But I can tell you that Roxio and MS work closely together and there's no reason to believe that it will be done soon.

Even if they dont do this for a wile, whats the issue here?, the DLA error with the driver has a fix (via Dell) or by removing Drag to Disk?, so whats your issue here with EMC9??

Being certified will not make much diference to the end user? its just a sticker on the box and the DLA error would be included in the driver cabs and thats it?, if you have issues , you are still going to have them with EMC9 or Vista if you allready have them?

So what are your issues?? ( i allmost regret asking this question)

First of all, I learned of the "fix" from the good users from this forum, not from the company itself.  In fact, Roxio is still telling its Vista Customers to start removing Microsoft Updates from Vista, which I think is irresponsible, and will cause other problems down the line.  Dell was able to come up with a real fix in 4 weeks from from when Vista debuted.   It's beeen 10+ weeks and Roxio still hasn't come up with a real patch.
I had to waste a lot of time finding the answer, because Roxio support really isn't readily available.

Not a big thing, but I can't get Xingtone to work with Vista.  Neither Xingtone or Roxio are interested in coming up with a solution on this.

I like EMC9 a lot, but it is my feeling that the software isn't all that stable . . it tends to  crash now and then.
