I record DAB radio broadcasts in their native format as mp2 sound files. When I came to edit one today in Sound Editor, it ran at half speed. Other mp2 files from the same source are just fine.

The same file also plays fine in Windows Media Player and other sound software. It even works properly when converted to mp3. (Thanks to the person here who recommended Switch, I have been looking for something like that for years.)

I guess Sound Editor is seeing the wrong bit rate. But why? And why just one file?

Any thoughts?
