I just burned a dvd with content that I shot and edited. When I tried to make a copy of the disk Toast said it was CSS encrypted. Any thoughts?

Are you using Toast 7.0.2?  Is this a DVD-RW or DVD-R?

Yeah it's 7.0.2 and it's a DVD-R I've burned several other DVD's of similar content off my dv cam and it hasn't done it.

It's possible the DVD didn't burn correctly.  I've seen this kind of thing happen before.  It's usually just a bad disc.

I've had this problem too, I use ffmppx to make a VIDEO_TS file, then bring it into Toast, then when I go to make a disc image, it gives me the CSS error. (so no disc, bad or good, involved).

I have found a work around, going to the Data Disc tab and burning it as a UDF disc (instead of the video tab with the VIDEO_TS option).
