I need to get this off of my chest. First let me say I like the Roxio EMC9 software. However that being said, everything I read about Roxio is about how they are partners w/ Microsoft and how they are working together with the new Windows Vista. Why is it then that Roxio comes out with a new product that does not take advantage of the Aero interface? Everyone that I speak with likes the new Aero Interface. Is this just another way for a software company to double-dip their loyal customers. What they should do is develop a skin that utilizes the AI so those of us w/ Vista can take advantage of the new interface. Or atleast when they do come out with a new Vista compatable product subvent the upgrade cost for those of us who bought EMC9 for the Vista interface. Anyway I know I can't be the only one with this concern or opinion. Maybe if enough of us request this Roxio will develop something for us. to see what I am talking about visit the following website that is provided by Roxio, http://www.windowsvista.com/innovation.

A somewhat satisfied customer,

Gordon

Funny, I've used EMC9 in Vista and I never even looked at the AERO part.  It's just not that big of a deal to me but I would agree that if your system can run AERO, so should compatible apps. I care more that my apps all work correctly.
Either way, I'm sure things will work out if we are all patient. And, yes, Roxio/Sonic is a MS partner.

You're right. The most important thing is that they work properly. This is obviously too big of a task as it stands right now. I believe the software companies rely on users to "break" the software and assist in finding fixes. This is okay if you want to spend hours trying to fix things that should work. Especially when you pay for software.

You  might want to consider posting some of your comments in the new section 'EMC Content Design-Themes and Styles' and mention what you'd like to see in future versions.

What's the deal with 'AERO' that makes it so special?  Personally, I hate skinning in general.  I would much prefer that ALL APPLICATIONS use the system UI. Period!  Roxio should just completely dump skinning.
