I'm not an interpreter but I'm also not a mind reader, what computer do you have. Do you have the full EMC 9 or just MyDVD? What version if only My DVD?

We do need much more info from you especially the specs of your computer.
One suggestion in the forum found here worked so you can start by taking a look at that.
You should also try burning to an image file instead of direct to disc and see if that works for you. Post back after you've tried the above and let us know what happened. But, please post with as much detail as you can.

Sorry I am completely "techno" challenged.
eMachines T3085
AMD Athlon XP3000+
2.17ghz 448 mb of ram
Microsoft Windows XP 2002
NVIDIA nforce Audio Codec
NVIDIA nForce MCP audio proc. unit
Internal cd/dvd burner
does this help? I am honestly not very good at this so if you need more info i'll try to find it.
I am using EMC9 dlx suite. I used Roxio easy creator 6 before and just upgraded.
I do not even know how to convert my dvd to an image file.
if there is something I should read first before you can help, just please direct me.
thanks again.

To burn to an image file (ISO), uncheck the 'burn to disc' selection box and put a check in the 'save image file' box and name your project and select the 'browse' button to pick where you'd like to have it saved. Then click burn.
When complete, open up Disc Copier, browse to where you saved you file, select it and then burn the image file to disc.
Of course, all this is based on the fact that the image file was encoded to your hard drive without any errors. If so, we'll have to find out why there are errors.
I'm concerned with your ram. You don't even have 512 which I beleive to be the minimum so while doing the above, make sure you've shut down all other programs and don't play with your computer while it's doing this process.

Hi Beerman-
I tried to burn my dvd to an image file and it didn't work .Here's what happened:
Took out the audio because I was getting a message "failed to analyze media files. one or more of the files you have selected may be unsupported or corrupt"
I then tried to burn my project first as a regular dvd then as an image file.
both times it started to encode and got about 30% then i got this message:
The current output device was removed. error while encoding movie.
any ideas?
