Before I installed EMC 9, I could turn on my computer (running Windows XP Professional, SP2), walk away, come back later, and it would have completed booting and I was ready to go. After installation, I now have the "To begin, click on your user name" screen. I would like to undo this. Can anyone help?

All my attempts to login to technical support have failed. I would appreciate any advice you might have.

Thanks,

JT

Yes, you can get rid of it. Microsoft's NetFrame was installed on the computer, which is needed for the Roxio program.

Go to Control Panel, scroll down to User Accounts, and delete the one that was added by NetFrame.

I have my user account and Guest account. I deleted the one put on there by NetFrame, and the sign-in problem went away.

To get rid of all Roxio stuff that is running at startup, go to Start/Run, and type in msconfig. Uncheck all boxes pertaining to Roxio, click Apply, then Ok, then reboot, and put a check in the box on the annoying screen that comes up at bootup.
