Lately, I've been having problems when trying to burn some .AVI files onto a blank DVD-R. I'll drag and drop the movie into Toast, hit Burn, and it will do its usual Encoding... thing. (That, by the way, takes a long time.) The problem that I've been having is that right when it finishes encoding the movie, Toast quits. Just like that. No error message, no nothing. Needless to say, my DVDs are not getting burned. I'm on OS 10.3.9, any suggestions?

I don't know why this is happening, but instead of clicking the burn button choose Save as Disc Image from the File menu. When the disc image is finished burn it to DVD using the Image File setting in the Copy window.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
