Hi,
While trying to make a audio CD this problem has started. I insert the CD I want to copy and pick the songs I want to burn. I press the Add button and it works fine, but when I try to change disks the door will not open and RecordNow seems to freeze. Sometimes it will happen after the first try and sometimes I can get 4-5 songs ready to burn list. Any Ideas? Thanks,
Wornslick

Are you making a disc with songs from different discs or from just a single disc?
To add all songs from all sources you should use the add button. Once the songs are added, and you're done, then you just press burn, you can leave the audio disc in the drive and Record Now will eject it and prompt you for a blank disc
If you press eject and nothing happens or Record Now freezes, there might be an issue with another program latching onto the drive. Packet writing utilities like InCD, DLA, DirectCD, and others should be disabled when not in use. You can disable them by right clicking on the drive in My Computer, going to properties and find the tab associated with the program. Disable it.
You also might try updating the firmware for the drive.

I am making a new CD using songs from many different disks. I will try what you suggested. Would removing Sonic and reinstalling help? Thanks,

I unchecked the DLA box and thought I hit apply but maybe not. So I unchecked it again and removed and reinstalled RecordNow and it is working fine. Thanks KevinJ for all your advice.
