I've been using Roxio 9 for 6+months and have burn many cd's, but I've suddenly lost the ability to burn cd's to play on car and home stereos. They play on my pc but when I try other devices there is no sound or I get cd error messages. The cd's appear to be finalized but how can I determine if that is true?
I've tried both cd burners, a Memorex and Lite-on, both which I'ved used successfully before, and I've used to different cd types, one HP and another TDK, which I've used in the past. I haven't made any recent changes to my pc or upgraded any drivers.
I'm running XP SP2, 1024mb, 128 video mb and 2 Maxtor drives (60 & 160mb)
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks
Walt

Try it this way
Instead of burning directly to the CD, make an image file to the hard drive and then open that with Disc Copier (not forgetting to put a blank disc in first)

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
