Can't Burn DVD or CD

I have just finished editing a vacation video and I have 4669.0 MB to burn. When I click on burn
The program does not seem to find the DVD-R I have.
The DVD has 4.7 GB, Do have to get a DVDR-RW instead.
I am desperate as a I have to show the family this week

Choose disc copier fit to disc! A single layer DVD will only hold around 4464mb on the 4,7gb disc.

What error message are you getting when you said the program does not seem to find the DVD-R? What program in the Suite were you using to burn? Please provide details of the steps you were doing.
