I am running Windows Vista premium and I just installed Easy Media Creator 9 download edition. I am having problems with the "This driver is blocked due to compatibility issues". I went to Add Remove and uninstalled Drag to Disk, re-booted, but the problem did not go away

Is this a Dell system? What other software do you have installed? Was this an upgrade install of Vista or a fresh install?

This is a box that I put together a from scratch. Using an AMD 3800+ CPU, Asus A8R-MVP motherboard, 2.048 GB DDR Ram.
This is a clean install on a three partitioned 200 GB Maxtor hard drive.
There are about 30 installed items, and including the device drivers. I made screenshots of the Programs and Features folder, but I can't figure out how to export it to this forum.
I uninstalled Easy Media Creator 9, cleaned out all the registry entries that I could find, deleted folders and shortcuts, but "This driver is blocked due to compatibility issues" problem still exist.
I just ran a system restore from command prompt. That removed the pop-up problem, but what about re-installation?

Most who get this problem (me included) simply removed Drag to Disc using the standard uninstall in Vista control panel and the problem went away. I'm not sure why you still get this message when you remove it.

After disabling Kasperskys 9 Internet Security, I reinstalled EMC 9, and this time after uninstalling this Drag to Disk, everything seems to be working okay, although I am somewhat concerned about virus scanner running longer after every boot ,or reboot.
Thank you very much
