In Mydvd 5.2, I get capture error 62001 even though the preview sceen and capture buttons are lit up. If I switch to vcd mode. all is well.
I have been doing fine for several years until I changed my video capture devise. It is now Video Advantage PCI.
Can anyone help?

Read the topic descriptions before you post; don't just randomly post. If you can't find the right place, at least post in the general topics area. MyDVD 5.2 or 8.2?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

The problem is that that capture device is unsupported. A list of supported devices is here: http://patches.sonic.com/kbdocs/supportedcaptureMyDVD5.htm
