Ok heres the problem when i shut down my dell dimension 4600, 40 gig HD, 512 ram, 128 graphics, P4, ect.
and windows states: "Windows is shutting down..." a BSOD (blue screen of death) comes up talking about IRQL, new apps, ect. so i CANNOT restart... ok so lets try to re-install windows... nope, no such luck... a program from Roxio, thier "GoBack" (Which i DID NOT KNOW was on my machine, only norton's go back presence was known) is not compatablie with windows... So unitl its removed windows cannot be reinstalled to fix the BSOD, ok well i went to add/remove programs.. didn't find "goback" did find sonic's record now, thats gone, Sonic DLA, now gone, all of my music related programs are gone, but somewhere, hidden is this hellish program. Heres some stuff rom the BSOD: Tehc info: STOP: 0x0000000A (0x00000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x804DC11D). So then, knowing a restart is out of the question in any remedy any please anyone have some sort of idea of how to fix this? I am on the verge of nukeing my hard drive but wnat to know if theres another problem.. Thanks.
