The computer is an HP A1730N running a Windows Vista Operating system. It has Realtec High Definition Audio. I have a Sylvania VCR player plugged into the Dazzle DVC90 as shown in the "Dazzle DVC90 Connector as shown in the Dazzle Video Capture Getting Starte Card.I downloaded and installed the Dazzle driver for Windows Vista. I do not get any sound recorded when I capture from the VCR player. I do not even get any sound coming into the computer from the VCR playerwhen the audio is hooked up to the Dazzle Audio Input. If I hook the VCR player up to the input jack on the sound card I can then get Audio coming into the computer from the VCR but hooked up that way it will not record it. The Dazzle DVC90 is listed in the Device Manager as an Audio Device, but I can not get it to work when I capture from the VCR. What do I need to set to get the computer to capture Audio from the Dazzle DVC90?

NO AUDIO INPUT WITH DAZZLE Video seems to be working OK

I've tried using the Dazzle with Vista and haven't had any luck for the same reason.I can't get any audio.I'm not sure if it's the drivers or the drivers for my Audigy 2 sound card.
I'm waiting to see if the drivers that Pinnacle puts out for the Dazzle (was supossed to be March) fix the problem. The reason I somewhat suspect the Audigy is that funtionality has been lost going to Vista and using the drivers provided by Creative Labs.

Thank you for your reply. My computer is using Onboard Realtec High Definition Audio. It is interesting that someone else is having the same problem on a different machine that I am having on mine. This is not the only thing that is not working on the Roxio software. My thoughts are that this problem is probably related to the Windows Vista operating system. I wonder if anyone running Windows XP is having the same problem.
The Pinnacle drivers were supposed to be out in March? Have they given a new date for the drivers release since it is now April 4? It would be nice the drivers fix the problem.
I was finally able to contact Roxio Support today. They gave me some suggestions to try that did not help and then said they would try to duplicate the problem and get back to me with the result. I have not heard any response from them about it yet.

I have it working also in XP and it works just fine.I use it mostly to capture tv shows off satellite.I'm hoping it's the same thing and when Pinnacle releases the drivers it may work correctly.
What I'm really worried about is that it has something to do with my soundcard and the way it processes the signals and the limited functionality it has under Vista.
I'm wondering if anyone at Roxio actually tried using the Dazzle with the driver they put out and if it worked or not.Let us know if you hear from them.

Thank you for the replies. From your responses it sounds like Dazzle works in XP but not in Vista. I still havent heard anything from Roxio support. I will let you know what Roxio support says when they get back to me. Or should I say if they get back to me. Let me know when drivers are available from Pinnacle.
