After watching a number of slideshows made with Pinnacle 9, all seemed to have better resolution then ones I made with Roxio 9. I conducted a test using the same jpeg photos, same settings, same computer, and played both on the same DVD player and monitor. It was obvious that picture resolution using Pinnacle 9 was superior. I love the usability and the features of Roxio 9, so not getting the best resolution is quite troubling. Because this is a software issue, I just don't see why Roxio wouldn't be capable of of the same resolution. Both slideshows were created using DVD format, best quality settings. Has anyone else made the same comparison? Can anyone including tech. support explain why?

You are posting to a users forum, not tech support.  We are users, like you.

I have never used Pinnacle, so I can't give you an opinion.  The quality of video is highly subjective.  Not everyone sees things the same way, but you want to use what looks best to you.
