I am using the Avid Xpress Pro HD on an XW8000 hp computer.  I want to burn a dvd using the QT Reference export feature, but before i start banging my head againt the monitor, has anyone out there been doing this?  If so, what do i need to look out for?

i am using sonic my dvd 4 and have been getting errors like crazy, also, when i am able to create a cd, there is a lot of jitter in the movement of frames.  THe last time I went through this a couple of years ago, i ended up just getting a dvd recorder and that worked great.

Before I upgrade i want to make sure i do not get the same problems

MyDVD 4 does not support Quicktime Reference files. Try exporting in MPEG2 or DV-AVI
