i just got a new dell windows vista home premium computer with easy media creator 9 pre installed. i can go through the process of adding tracks and burning the disc but when i try to play it, it acts like the disc hasnt been finalized or something and just spins around in there for awhile before the stereo spits it out. very frustrating!! i have been through all the settings and options i can find with no luck on fixing the problem. ive tried searching through the forum with no luck of finding any answers to my particular problem as well. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

What app are you using to make the audio cd? Are you sure you didn't make an mp3 cd? Please post back with exactly what steps you took.
Try Music Disc Creator if you haven't already and see how that works for you.

the only thing im using is easy media creator 9. when i click on the icon it brings up a window where i can pick audio cd, dvd or what ever. i have followed the steps listed in the help file for creating a audio cd. and so far have about 5 different cds that wont play in anything now.

To make sure there's not a problem with your burner, try to make a cd using Window Media Player and see where that gets you. Also, what type of files are you adding? Might these be copy protected files? They most likely wouldn't even be allowed to be imported.

If the firmware for the burner isn't up to date, it may be having problems with the media that you are using. That should not be the case, though.

Try using Music Disc Creator, in the EMC 9 suite.
