Amongst other things, I use Toast to capture DV clips for use in a digital audio editing system. When opened in Quicktime Pro, the file size is double that shown by the Finder. Moving the files around the network and internet indicate that they are the size that the Mac is telling me, but Quicktime shows a figure twice the size, which does accord with the duration and supposed data rate (also identified by Quicktime Pro). Example: 30 seconds of DV in the Finder is around 100MB, Quicktime says 200MB and around 60Mbits data rate (which adds up). Anyone have any ideas on why this is so?
