When I drag a VIDEO_TS folder to the "DVD-Video" window and attempt a "Save As Disc Image" to a DL disc I
receive a "The application Toast Titanium quit unexpectedly." message. I dragged the same folder into the
"DVD-Video from VIDEO_TS" window and saved to the DL disc with no problem and so I assume that the DL
disc is okay. What I am trying to do is install two movies on one DL disc and I read in a previous post that you
could do this by dragging both movies to DVD_VIDEO and then saving them as a disc image the DL disc, but it
is not working for me. I hope you can help.

What you need to do is extract the MPEGs from the VIDEO_TS folders using the Media Browser. If the VIDEO_TS folder is on the hard drive place it either on the desktop or in the Movies folder (not inside any other folder). Choose DVD with the top button of the Media Browser. In a couple seconds the "DVD" will appear in the lower window. Go to the titles level using the lower button. Select the titles you want and drag them to the Video window with DVD Video selected as the format. Do the same thing with the other VIDEO_TS folder. After the MPEGs are extracted (and written to the Converted Items folder) you can choose Save as Disc Image or burn the DL DVD (presuming the content will fit the disc).

Thanks for your help, I did as you suggested, put the VIDEO_TS folder on the desktop and went through the rest
of the procedure, it showed 4 Titles and the first title had 28 chapters, which I moved to the Video window, I hope
this was what you meant, what I don't understand is how to extract the MPEG files. Thanks again

When you used the Media Browser to add content from the VIDEO_TS to the Toast Video window you extracted the MPEG files. It's done. If you copy chapters instead of titles Toast will extract the content of that chapter and it will appear as a title in your new DVD (you can name it in the menu). If you copy a title then Toast will retain any existing chapter markers within the title.

The extracted files are written to the Roxio Converted Items folder (by default this is in your Documents folder). Toast's default preferences is to empty that folder whenever you quit Toast. If you don't want it emptied - for example, you stop working on the project and want to continue with it at another time - be sure to change Toast preferences not to automatically empty the converted items folder.
