Does anyone have a suggestion for me? I'm new to the slideshow realm. I have a 58 minute slideshow containing about 642 photos (jpg) and 13 songs (mp3). The preview of the slideshow plays in its entirety, however, when I burn to a DVD, the slideshow "skips" about 10 minutes into it, and goes to about the 50 minute mark, thus cutting out approx. 40 minutes of the whole show. I tried to break it down into smaller "slideshows" but can't get the "movie" to play without having to go back to the menus and start at each individual one. Getting frustrated--this is a project for my dad's 80th birthday. HELP! Suggestions? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any feedback you might have to offer. I've tried to burn several times, using different types of DVDs and it always "skips" at the same point.

Use the ISO file route to burn the side show to a file and then copy that file to a DVD using Disc Copier. You didn't make the mistake of making the slide show in MyDVD did you?
Read this and do steps 16 through 21. The last one with your dad.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

It pays to visit these discussion groups.
I've learned tons in only a day!
Best thing I've learned is
make iso file
then copy to the DVD

Well, you never came back to the forums, but it sure sounds like you used the Slideshow Assistant, which is limited to 99 photos. You need to use VideoWave for that production.
Life is good!
