Drag-to-disc: Failed to rename disc

Can anyone tell me why there is an error message "Failed to rename disc" displayed when I use drag-to-disc to do the data backup?

Are you logged in as the computer administrator.

Is this "backup" for the purposes of keeping the data? If so, you are choosing a method that works best at permantly LOSING data.
