Hello,  I have EMC suite 9 with on a Dell Inspiron 9400, running Windows XP Pro.

Just recently, after I burnt 3 DVDs, all of which appeared to burn successfully, the playback locks up almost everything on my system.  These same DVDs play just fine in other people's computers and on both of the home DVD players that I have tried.

So, why do these DVDs not play on my pc?

Other discs, both purchased and burnt play just fine.

Any ideas?

Thank you.
Doug

Thanks for getting back to me, I knew I neglected to include some useful information.

I normally use Cineplayer which comes with EMC but I have also tried my Windows Media Player.

Another thing that I find weird is that, when I reboot with the newly burnt disc in my drive, the computer hangs and windows will not boot.  Like somehow I created a boot disc.
