As far as your problem goes, bring up the "Videowave" program in EMC 9 and add that video you captured from your mini DV camera in the "Timeline view" (hopefully you captured using a IEEE1394 (Firewire) cable) and then click on it and choose EDIT. See if you can edit it in Videowave.

Don't triple post. It is considered poor forum etiquette.

No problem. You aren't the only one who has ever done it.

Thaks a lot, I actually did not have an ATI, so could not use ATI Driver, had a SIS MIRAGE 2 , so Downloaded latest driver , but was not sure which Windows XP i had, if the regular home one or 64 bit, so used the regular one. Now the program runs, but now I have another problem, which belongs to another section, and I will post, but will give you a hint, after capturing via firewire, now after editing on myDVD and burning it, on dvd player looks very grainy, jagged edge images of people basically terrible quality, not like MYDVD 6.
I will try it tonight when I get home, hope it works!! its driving me nuts!!
I tried Video wave and did not work , but as another member indicated below regarding latest driver that solved the problem, now I hgave another one, which I will post on correct section. Thanks anyways!!!!!!

Thanks for your comments to the above. I am also experiencing the same video card problem with EMC 9. I tried your Video Wave comment, but it still doesn't run. The reply come back again, "... the card diagnosis failed. The application cannot run." I am terribly dissatisfied with EMC 9 and wished I had stayed with EMC 7.5. When I burn a DVD, I cannot get it to run on my TV. Any suggestions?
Paul
