I'm not familiar with Vista, but if the Explorer still works like XP then go to the file you want to change and right click the file and choose "properties" instead of "Edit Song Info" then when the properties dialog pops up choose the "summary" tab, when the summary tab is forward then choose advanced and you can manually enter the info if you know what it's supposed to be.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply, you can sort of manually edit the tags, but that will take too long as i have a few albums, i dont understand why its not being updated

However, when run from 'Rename Audio Files', or, Media Manager, the tags are updated!
Running from 'Rename Audio Files'... (preferred method)
1. Start 'Rename Audio Files'from the 'Home/Applications' menu.
2. When the 'Media Selector' appears, select the music files you want updated. (Do not select 'OK')
3. Select the 'Tag Editor' icon just right of the path name. It looks like a musical note.
4. Make sure 'Embed or replace...' is checked.
5. Click 'MusicID', then when complete, 'Done'. Your files will be updated.
The reason I don't add them to 'Rename Audio Files' is that you cannot remove them without exiting the program.
Running from 'Media Manager'...
1. Start Media Manager.
2. Select the music files you want updated.
3. Right click the files, and select 'Edit Audio Tags'. Follow same process outlined above for 'Tage Editor'.
