I transferred some pics and avi's to a cd-rw disc and apperntly left toe session open. My computer had emc 7 on it when I purchased it. Now if I try to access that disc the program hangs up. The data is there accourding to the disc info option, I did get it to read that, but if I try to finalize it or do anything with it I get an Insert appendable disc message ??
Any and all help getting to the information on this disc will be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Probably the RW disc has faded beyond the point it is readable.  A recovery program MAY be able to retrive the data, but no guarantees.

If, instead of rushing into the EMC 7/7.5 - General Forum, you had gone down to EMC 7 / 7.5 - Backup / Data / Copy, you might have noticed this post pinned to the top:

In the future - if you want to KEEP the data, NEVER use RW media - and never Format it, either, altho it sounds like you might have avoided that mistake

Was the first thing you did import previous session?If not try that and then try to append the disc or finalize it.
