When I first installed this software, I remember seeing a pop up window about xingtone.  But for the life of me, I can't find it inside the software.  Here's my Roxio info:

Roxio RecordNow 9 Music Lab
Version: 9.0.176
Build: 901B76B, RN9
Copyright: Sonic Solutions 2006

Module Name: PX Engine
Build: 3.0.88a, 2
Copyright: Sonic Solutions 2006

Module Name: Roxio Core
Version: 3.3.0
Build: 331B74A, RN9
Copyright: Sonic Solutions 2006

I did not buy the Suite but the $29.99 Music Lab version.  Nor did I buy it for the xingtone feature, but now that I can't locate it, it's got me wondering...

Prepared to look dumb,

S.

Edit: The images are from EMC9; didn't notice you're talking about RecodNow

I don't have RecordNow 9 but in my EMC9 suite, it's listed as a separate entry in the Programs menu.  If you think it should be installed, just do a system wide search for Xingtones.

I don't have a Create Ringtones option on the Home Page.  My screen looks like the example at the 2nd link where the other person also did not have that option.  I am wondering why now...

Plus, I should point out that my Home section doesn't have Create Ringtones either and I know I did the Full Install!

What OS are you using, XP or Vista? If Vista, I thought I saw a post before that it is not compatible with Vista yet, so it won't install even if you select it to.

I have XP SP2.  I am wondering if it is because of its being Music Lab and not the Suite.  Also, if as I read you have to pay $20 to use it, that is a moot point as well.

According to the sales information, you have it. I don't know if there is a charge for a full version but you should have at least a lite version. Is your screen like this one?

Could that screen have asked if you want to install it and you declined? Try a Windows repair/install or a uninstall/reinstall. Remember to keep your anti-virus and anti-malware off when you install anything.

That screen doesn't look familiar to me at all.  I will try uninstall/reinstall and let you know what happens!
