Hi Everyone, I really hope you can help me out here. This is really frustrating.

I need to create a WMV file that is about 700 kbps, good for broadband streaming from a website, and has a size of 720x480.

I have tried using the 2-3 output settings that may have met these needs and the only issue, which is a big one, is that they come out in like 320x240 and I need it to be much larger, like 720x480 or something similar.

Is there anyway for me to edit the settings of the preset output type to 720x480...seems like a simple feature that would surely be on there right? But of course the "Edit" button is not available on the presets.

So I decided it should be easy enough to create my own custom output template. But it doesn't seem to give me a way to do WMV files.

Any ideas?

Another option maybe: Does the version of VideoWave in Easy Media Creator 9 have a setting that would work? Actually, what WMV output templates are in EMC 9? Can someone with EMC 9 please list them here?

Thanks so much for the help...this is really important for my business and my sanity.

I don't have V8 on my computer to check but here is the list in V 9  Why don't you just use the highest settings and have the viewer zoom to full screen mode?

You can load other types of video files to a web site (depending on your supplier) but downloading may be a problem.  I had avi files loaded on a web site and a one minute video would take 2- 4 minutes to download for those with high speed ISP.  The quality was excellent..

Take a look at the demo videos in the V9 tips and tricks area.  Select the third one and watch it in full screen.  Look only at the text since the actual video was captured at 15 frames per second and converted The WMV file is 640 by 480.  that should give you an idea of quality for a WMV video.
