I'm trying to import video from a disc. I recently upgraded from video wave 7 to video wave premiere suite 8. I had no issues when I was using 7, but now nothing shows up. I select the "DVD" drive from the drop down to import and then get the following "To begin, click one of the buttons above to select the type of media you would like to import." There are no buttons showing up? Only text?

So how do I import? I haven't tried importing from a camera yet.

Here are a few more details. I don't have IE 7 installed. I checked to make sure I don't have Windows media player 11 I have 10.

If I hit the "Photo" button in Roxio Media import and select the DVD drive I can see all of the files on the dvd and can import them as photos. When I click the "Video" button and select the DVD drive from the drop down the screen just keeps refreshing to the "Welcome to Roxio Media Import"

Is there a Video_TS folder on that disc?If not then Media Import will not import using the Video tab.Try looking at the help files for Media Import for an explanation.
