Don't know hat's gone wrong but every time i try to do something with EMC9 it tries to install its self but the *msi file is missing.
Sadly I have today discovered that the backup disk I made with EMC9 download version on it (made with EMC9!) is a coaster...
I did not buy the extended downlaod version nor did I buy the disk...
How can I replace the copy please?
backup coaster

By contacting Roxio. There should have been some info in the email Roxio sent you when you purchased it about re-downloading and it's limitations and contacting them. Or you can look at their contact page for info on contacting them about it.

Thanks for the speedy reply.
My order page on digitalriver:
If i push the download button i get an error message saying that the 30-days has expired (purchased 11/06)
I pushed the buy extended download button; it was all working till i pushed the back button trying to find out the cost; now that button does not exist?
If i push buy the disk (or some such wording) I get an error message.
So you think if i contact Roxio they can/will help? (product was registered and I have all the original purchase info)

I think they would help you. I've always had a good experience dealing with them myself. My order page on digitalriver:

One thing you could try, is to close up your browser, then start a new browser window and try the digital River route again (make sure you note the costs this time). That may clear out the cached page you were on so that button will be available again.
