i am in the market for media software and was wondering can Roxio burn the audio from a DVD to a cd or rip it to my media players hard drive? This would be unprotected DVDs. i have checked out other software forums and it seems complicated if not impossible.

You wouldn't be using EMC 7.5, unless you have it already, but yes it can, if the DVD is not encrypted.

You have to 'capture' the video on the DVD, then 'extract' the audio portion.

It's not difficult, but it does take time to capture and extract.
