In Roxio Creator DE, MyDVD Express works fine, but when I open MyDVD, it says my video card will now be profiled.  And then I get a message that the videocard diagnosis failed and the application cannot run.

It's a new Dell so it ain't like it's a dinosaur of a video card.  Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3000.

I emailed Roxio support a month ago and got ignored.  Anybody know what its problem is?  Is MyDVD not enabled in DE?  Why doesn't it just say so?

Is that a laptop?  All laptops have a video chip.  Check with Dell to see if there is an updated driver for your chip.

In addition to what Bruce said, 9DE is the Dell Edition and support for that is supposed to be provideed by Dell.

If they supplied you with a computer and bundled software, then they are the ones you should be contacting (as it seems that the fault lies with their version of EMC9 and/or their hardware)
