I have tried to select more than one track to join. The help center says to control click several tracks to join. However when I ctrl click all it does is split the track into two at the point i click. Have tried shift click but does nothing.

Anyone had similar problems and found a solution?

I have never had that problem. If you are using Sound Editor, select the tracks in the Mix Editor, in the lower part of the screen, and click on the Join Clips icon.

That is where I have been trying it. Using ctrl click anywhere else does nothing.

You don't have Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7) or Windows Media Player 11 installed, do you?

If not, I would try a Repair through Add/Remove Programs.

I have both but don't use either much. I do need IE7 to check any website pages I do though.

Why not try a repair if I have those?

Because no matter what you do, it isn't going to work unless you dump IE 7. Try it, anyway. You may get lucky.

Show me a website page that you can't get into with IE 6. I don't think even Bill Gates has any of those pages.

Well, I got rid of IE7 and media player 11, uninstalled roxio and did a fresh install and guess what.... still the same.

Any other hints?

Try the Repair of the software, through Add/Remove Programs. Click on the Change button, not the Remove button.

Sorry, forgot to say I tried that before re-installing.
