When I go to Creator 8 Home and go to AUDIO/Convert CD's I get a message to please insert disc into Drive. When I insert disc the same message pops up. This happens with both of my CD drives. If I go to Classic Creator or the Advanced Projects section they recognize my CD. I have Windows XP with SP2.
Any help?

I have to ask, do you have any other program on your computer that involves making dvd's or cd's? Is there any chance you have a program called dvd43 running in the background?

Just a casual reminder that copying protected disc - in the US - is illegal. We'll assume that you are outside the US where the DRM rights are less stringent (or not in force). That said, the discussion of that program was not a recommendation to use it but a caution that it could cause problems - correct?

Yes and that solves the problem. Thanks
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Absolutely correct skinis. I only know because I am an avid reader of all things tech, just wish more would stay in my brain!
