Hi
I've got PS8, having upgraded from PS4 Platinum.
When I first loaded it, PS8 seemed to be working fine, but following a system crash when I tried to reload it, it wouldn't let me, telling me it was already loaded on my PC.
Eventually, after 2 years (!) I upgraded and managed to load PS8 onto a pristine machine!
Now, I get problems when I access various modules. I often get a small window opening and a message telling me that PS8 is loading some file or other, then it fails to find the file, and does that ad-nauseum until I get fed up and bail out of the program.
Thats the background. Should I remove PS8 and start again - allowing that I had all sorts of problems in the past, and no help from Roxio (advice, but no help)?
If so, is it worthwhile upgrading to EMC 8 or 9, and is there a special deal on this?
By the way, I downloaded PS8 from the 'net.
All-in-all, PS8 is not a bad program.
Thanks in advance

Are you running Vista? If not, do you have Internet Explorer 7 and/or Windows Media Player 11 on your computer? They are known causes of problems in Roxio 8 programs.
Life is good!

Hi
No, I'm running XP Pro, Explorer 6.9.29 and Win media Player 10.
Thanks for responding, though!
