I did a search but didn't find any conclusive answers on how to fix my this crash. On about 80% of the time MyDVD would crash whenever I attempt to use the "Open Disc" option to copy the videos from my camcorder. It would also randomly crash whenever I try to use "Add Files" option as well. Before the crash, an error dialog box would appear stating "Sonic MyDVD has encountered a problem and needs to be close." Does anyone have any suggestions to fixing this problem?

I have the same problem too!!!
I'm very angry since I payed this item too much for too low performance! I'm contacting the canon support because they assure I should be able to import in my computer the video recorded into the DVD-RW using the DC40 but it is not so! I'm requiring to be refunded for the item cost, Is want to return the camcoder which is still in warrantee.
