The data changing was a side effect of adding an ADS to files, however we should have a hotfix shortly to stop the date change from happening, I'll post it to the top of the Media Manager forum when it's ready.

Just wonder what happened to the fix. Has there been a change in the plan? :)

Hi malatekid,

Generally they like to test and retest hot fixes to be sure they do not cause any new problems before they release them

:)

How could it possible cause more problems than it already has?

Having 5000+ date stamps changed on my system is beyond pale.

Roxio could have at least WARNED me before raping my hard drive.

I'm very unhappy.

As usual, nothing has been done. Roxio is not a responsive company and seems more interested in churning out another flawed version than fixing anything it has already gotten paid for.

I'm now less involved in the Creator product, however I believe the fix was rolled in to the Creator 8 Deluxe Suite package, version 9 is also not affected. As a workaround, you can disable roxwatch from scanning your system or limit the directories it indexes.
