Depending on your hardware, there are about 238 transitions; some of which can be run backward so perhaps more than 300. Fade is one of them
If your hardware - video card- can't handle some of the transitions, then you'll only have about 140. What card do you have? If you are using an older laptop, count on the lower number
Download the free trial of EMC 9 from the trial forum and see for yourself.

Hi sknis,I belive you mean 238 is the pot luck random transactions, how do you get more than 300? And how do you run backward??

Sound like you are trying to apply a transition theme. I usually add each transition separately or apply one transition to all and then change out just the ones I want.
If you look at the "effects selector" form the top view menu and count the number of transitions, there are 238 or there abouts. If you see only about 140, then your video card can't do the 3D transitions and some of the other more involved ones. I don't understand what you mean by 'pot luck"? Yes you can apply "pot luck" and get as many of those 238 transitions as possible but you can just choose the ones you want. Those 238 have to come from somewhere.
As for the 300, not all transitions can be run forward and backward and you cannot change the "color" on all of them. I took a SWAG on the 300. That is probably on the low side.
Find the transition "spray from top". run normally it sort of looks like a shower. Click on it and then select show settings on the left. You should get a window that opens that gives you two options. 1) Reverse 2) Color and background color. Reversing it make it look like a drying effect.
Sorry, with your computer, you may not be able to get those options.

I do believe that the folks who responded thought you were talking about making a DVD movie, not a music CD.
None of what they said, applies to your audio burning.

Yes, sorry I was thinking about video processing. Sorry
Fade is the default for almost all EMC 9 audio editing. Open Music Disc Creator and you'll see several options. There are really three types of fades and you can set the amount of overlap. See image. I do not show a fade; the option shown is a standard stop and start. The transitions can be as shown, i.e., vitually no overlap to an overlap of many seconds.
By the way roll back IE 7 to IE 6 and WMP 11 to WMP 10 for best results.

Looking at his first post, I don't think that there was anything else a person would think about. It had DVD video written all over it.

No way to open the ECDM6 files to a compatible version in V9. Use Sound Editor to do the conversion; add the files and then export them to the format you want or simply make a mp3 disc. The conversion is automatic if the files are supported. Doubt if rcl files are supported, very few programs can convert.

You weren't alone, but I couldn't remember for sure. It has been about 8 years since I got rid of Real Player, for good.
