DATA ERROR Roxio EMC Stream:$DATA

After competely removing ROXIO from my computer (000086CR Clean Installation of Easy Media Creator 8 or 9; URL http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/Creator/000086CR) after I try to backing up files to a ext. hard drive and I get an error :Roxio EMC Stream:$DATA. How can I completely remove this from my computer?
