EMC 9 Deluxe supposedly has a feature that allows one to mute system sounds while recording audio.  Those who have recorded audio from live radio know how 'distracting' it is when one of the system tones intrude on the recording session.  Going into the control panel and choosing 'no sounds' resolves most of the problem; however, there are other system sounds that still seem to make their way onto recordings.  So, I was looking forward to being free from that problem when I saw that EMC 9 Deluxe offers the capability to "Instantly capture audio playing on your PC with one clic - even mute all system sounds."  Well, I'm at a loss as to how to invoke that function.  Figured the 'Options' area under 'Tools' would have that feature.  Not.  Anyone know how to take advantage of that feature?  Thanks in advance.

Jean,
Thank you very much for the information.  Never thought to view those options.  As long as I've used Sound Editor, I've only been interested in the drop-down menu by that 'Options' -- usually to call for MP3.  I appreciate your reply.

You need special permission from the board admin to do that, but if you can upload the picture to one of the hosting websites, then you can link to it from your post

Thanks for your reply, gi7omy.
I don't know how to upload the picture from (Roxio...) softwares.
And can I upload it to my regular email instead of loading to this forum?

I'm still learning... Thanks again!

To get a pic of the screen - use the Print Scrn button on the keyboard, open MS Paint or any graphics program, go to edit and paste. save that as a .jpg and use that to upload to a hosting website and then just post a link here to that site

Look for free web hosting (Image Shack, for one).

You need a software or utility to take a snapshot of an image that you want to post. You upload that screenshot of the image to the web host site. The URL of that image from the web is the one that you provide as file attachment when posting here.
