I began using EMC7 some years back and subsequently upgraded to EMC8.  I has a lot of easily accesible capabilities for most of what I need to do with this type of software but it also seems to be quirky at best and it is not unusual to encounter a number of freeze-ups and or DVD's-turned-coasters in the course of a production.

My question is the following:  Since the description of EMC9 given in the sales pitch by Roxio is sooooo very brief and vague... and since most applications appear to be the same as those in EMC8.  Is the upgrade really worth it?  Faster rendering... how much faster.  I am not opposed to spending the $80 but would like to get some idea of what you all feel out there in Roxio Love-Hate Land.

Thanks.
