I just installed tunebite and 3ivx. My DVD worked before but now I get a blank screen and no menus when I load My DVD. It freezes if I try to change the menu style. I updated the DirectX. Any suggestions? Here are the specs.

I just installed tunebite and 3ivx. My DVD worked before but now I get a blank screen and no menus when I load My DVD...
Just a suggestion... providing links to these products would help us to find out about them without having to search the web.
Who knows what TunBite did!
As far as 3ivx... Disc copier does a good job of 4.7gig DVD's. I've succsessfuly put 3 hours 20 minutes on one DVD without noticible loss of video/audio quality.
Is everything else working normally in EMC8? It seems odd that MyDVD would burp. Does Videowave function okay? Disc Copier?
At first glance of these two products, it sounds as if they are taking over certian aspects of video/audio on your pc. Play a video in Windows Media Player, right click the filename in the list pane and select Properties. Post back what is listed in Video & Audio Codec.
My only suggestion...
- Restore your pc to a restore point prior to install those two products. You did make a restore point, didn't you?
- Try to repair or re-install EMC8
- Wait for someone who knows what there talking about.

. Maybe reinstalling will fix whatever is broken. But then that may break one of the other two you installed. (I wouldn't want to do this either!)

I uninstalled the two products and it did not return EMC 8 to normal. I also did a reinstall of EMC 8 but it did the same thing....Thanks for the help though

Just a thought...
