very poor job of importing HD from sony HDR-HC1 movie camera? any suggestions?

Please go into your profile here and add in info about your computer, OS and service packs into your signature, then also maybe post the Make model of the DVI camera you are using ect...

May sound silly, but are you using firewire? We really need more information.
