I authored my 2nd blu-ray disk using DVDitHD Pro and can play this disc on my Sony BDP-S1 players (2), but can't play on the computer it was created on. I remember after creating the 1st disc that I could use windows explorer to see the folders and files on the disc, but with this project I can only play on Sony blu-ray player. I can not see the files I created, even on the computer that created them. When I put the disc in the sony blu-ray burner that created it, I get an erro that reads: Windows cannor read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with windows. Why is this?

First question has to be, what drive is in the computer you are trying to play on....and what software are you using to play it. There seem to be two players, Cyberlink's PowerDVD for Blu-Ray (or some purchased variant) and Intervideo WinDVD.
I, personally have the Sony BWU-100a burner and my projects play beautifully in my Sony BDP-S1 with 1.55 firmware. The Cyberlink PowerDVD that came with the burner would play the BDAV projects Cyberlink creates but they lack menus and do not play on the BDP-S1. My copy of PowerDVD does not play the BDMV projects DVDit makes so well.....and I am not concerned enough to throw yet more time money at it. I may be in the minority, but discs are for players....and wider distribution and the computer is for creating stuff!

Well, I don't know what happened, but I re-burned the the project since it was on a BD-RE disc and now it is working fine and I see the BDMV folder, etc. Must have been a bad burn first time. I'm using the Sony-BDP-S1 players, Sony burner and cyberlink to play on computer.
