Hi,
I am trying to copy audio CDs to my computer with the files stored in mp3 format. When the pop up box appears with a drop down menu the only format options available for storage file type are; ogg, wav and wma. Clicking on the help button advises me that there should also be an mp3 option. It happens with any CD I try including some which must be nearly 20 years old. I am using EMC basic VCD edition build 7.1.0.163 ENU. Can anyone advise? Thanks.

The MP3 encoder was not included in the Basic verion of the software. There is a free codec, but I don't have the URL handy. Hopefully, someone will drop in and post the link.
