When I register it tells me there is no internet connection which is incorrect. I have DSL and never have problems. I can't use the software because it says I have to register it first. What do I do?

Start by listing what specific problem(s) you are having, and your pc system specs. Just stating "can't use the software" gives us no information to try to help you with.

Sounds like MyDVD came with your camcorder? The problem would be with the Canon site and not the Roxio site :)

1) What version of the MyDVD software
2) Try disabling any firewall/internet security applications

Well you're going to have to try disabling any firewall applications/internet security, you may want to try booting in to SAFE MODE w/NETWORKING and try to register there, but if that fails you may want to contact Canon for assistance.

This is to help those with registration problems. I know im coming late with this news but better late than never. I had problems getting the registration page with Roxio My DVD for Canon. What i did was right click on the icon of Roxio my DVD thats on the desktop, clicked on properties, then click find target. You're going to see many icons but look for the one that says "LeaderReg" click on that and the registration page appears. Remember to be online while registering. I wish I could have been help sooner... that is if I helped anyone at all
