WHEN I USE THE SLIDER FOR SAY BRIGHTNESS IN VIDEO WAVE 8 THE SLIDER MOVES BUT NOTHING HAPPENS TO THE CLIP THAT I AM WORKING ON IT JUST STAYS AT THE SAME BRIGHTNESS LEVEL. blink.gif

Which of the EMC 8 versions do you have?  In the Suite, some of the functions were disabled. The Deluxe Suite is the only version that has everything enabled.  I remember some people indicating that the color adjust only worked for about 10 seconds and the rest of the video was the same as when it was captured.  I don't remember any fixes. I did a quick search and found nothing applicable.  Perhaps you can do a more thorough search?

Have you tried adjusting the color, etc when you captured the video?  Does that work?

What video card/chip do you have?  Please update the drivers for that and install the latest version of Microsoft's DirectX 9c.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
