Lots of stuff in the Vista sub forum in regards to a patch for EMC9 & Vista.

Anybody know anything about some of the known issues with EMC9 under XP?

Is the expected patch going to address those issues under XP?

I'm not sure but it's my understanding that it's related to Vista.  I'm hoping to see it show up soon.

If that is true... That would be very disappointing.

I guess I could upgrade to EMC Deluxe.. All the issues have been worked out of that suite right (with XP)?

I can get it for a discounted price as I am fortunate enough to be afforded the special upgrade price.

The core components are not changed in the Deluxe version with the exception of additional menu styles in MyDVD.

There are other programs added, but whatever issues were there with the components in the original EMC 9, are still there in the Deluxe version.

Thank you.

You're welcome.  I think that the update is supposed to work on both versions.  We will know when it gets posted.

As Bruce suggested, there are a few programs that were added to the "deluxe" version. One of which was the "Sound Soap" program from BIAS-INC. It is an audio editing program that edits out noise, scratches, rumble, etc. It works well with XP and has (just recently) been certified for use with Vista with the BIAS full version, but may not be certified for EMC 9 deluxe yet.
