Just installed MyDVD with Roxio 9. I upgraded from 7.5.  My project is a slide show. When I run preview the system consumes the whole cpu and I dont see any way to terminate it just keeps hour glass displayed.

Any ideas?

First of all, video rendering is extremely resource hungry - it will take up the full output of the CPU, push your RAM to the limit and also utilise the graphics system. One trick is to set (in control panel, system, advanced) performance to 'adjust for best performance' and also to close down any background apps (that's why we recommend defrag and also a malware sweep)

You do need a good graphics card really and plenty of RAM - on my machine, it takes longer than the duration of a movie to finish rendering - and that's with all background apps shut down
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
